American Airlines 50k sign up bonus

The Citi American Airlines World Mastercard is now offering 50k AA miles after $3,000 in spend in 3 months with the first year fee waived ($95). Gone are the days of 75k bonus', so a 50k bonus for a card is definitely worth considering.

• First checked bag free for you and up to 4 companions on the same ticket
• Group 1 boarding
• 1 point per dollar spent on everything
• 2x pointson American Airlines purchases
• 10% back on redeemed award flights 

But why stop at one card when you can get two?

You can also apply to a Visa personal for another 50k AA miles as mentioned in this Flyer-talk thread here, for a cool 100k miles! Some things to mention:

• Citi does not allow you to apply for 2 cards within a 8 days, so you won't be able to sign up for both in one day. Yes your score will probably take a 5-7 point drop but it'll come back up in a few months. 

• The Personal Visa does not have a landing page. No where does it state that you will receive the 50k miles, but multiple people have reported getting it, including David.

These are the same points I used for my First/Business class trip around the world. 100k points means your already half-way there! I will be signing up for both of these.
