Vanilla Cards - A Hard to Find Treasure

Vanilla Reload Network cards are part of the Vanilla Ink Bold strategy. These are sometimes tricky to find due to a couple reasons:

• In larger cities you have competition of other people trying to buy them out.
• Some of the stores will have them but will only allow a cash transaction

The trick here is to Google Maps the CVS's and Walgreens around you and go and try to purchase them in each store until you find a store that allows you to pay with card. (One of our friends mapped out her search for the elusive Vanilla Reload card in LA.) Some of the stores have it hard coded into their registers and won't take a credit payment, while other stores may have a manager who thinks you look too sketch.

A couple of warnings, these cards are not the same as Visa Vanilla gift cards or any other vanilla cards. Make sure you purchase the correct ones! (Pictured to the right). I have had better luck at CVS than Walgreens, but have found 1 of each that I can purchase at.
